BRABloomington have the 55 mile route map and sponsor list all ready to go and this sounds awesome. I just wish I could make it, but I’ve got a certain 4 year olds birthday party to attend. Check out BRABloomington for more info and get your ass a trainin’. This one is going to rule!

Updates are running a bit slow this week as I’m sick as all get out thanks to the sunburn I received this past Saturday and Sunday. As shitty as I feel, it was well worth it though. Thanks again to LexRides and everyone else that showed up for the Bluegrass State Games on Saturday and the Wet Hot American Bike Ride was nothing short of amazing on Sunday. Stay tuned for details regarding the August ride and then we’ll be back on for the 2nd annual 40 Ounce Fun Run come September.

So the douchebag pictured above is charged for firing a shot that actually hit a riders helmet without injuring the guy. All this after an altercation in which Charles Diez (see douchebag) was pissed about the fact that the guy he was now trying to kill was riding his bike on a busy road with his 3 year old son on the back. Genius.

So let me get this straight… You’re mad that this bike rider is, in your opinion,  endangering his son so to remedy the situation you try to kill him in front of his wife and child. Okay, I guess I can see where you’re going with this.

You can read more about the situation here.

Thanks to the whole Lexington Bike Polo crew that helped put on the Bluegrass State Games bike polo tournament yesterday. Louisville had two 2 teams essentially have their asses handed to them playing their two and out but everyone had an amazing time none the less… except for maybe that guy that Pepper and Zach picked up in Kurt’s absence for their first game, but I think he was even happy by the end of the day. I tooting my own horn I will say I scored two goals against the team that finally won the whole damn thing… take that Columbia!

Regardless, pick up games after were awesome, Al’s and the Sidecar rule and it was great meeting so many people from all over the damn place which is one of the best things about this. LexRides and the Lexington Bike Polo crew (not sure if their one in the same or not) seriously have their shit together and we, as in Louisville riders, have a lot of work to do.

Alright, not that kind of big bike weekend, but big like we got a lot of shit goin on dudes!

Tonight is pick up polo down in Lexington gearing up for tomorrows Bluegrass State Games tournament which we (Louisville) are taking two teams to as well as another player or two in tow. After the tournament tomorrow you can find us at either at Al’s Bar or The Sidecar, but likely both. Bands at Al’s beginning at 9pm, roller racing at The Sidecar.

Sunday, given we can get moving quick enogh will be more pick up polo at Coolavin starting at noon and then it’s haul ass back to Louisville for the Wet Hot American Bike Ride. This takes off from Hogan’s Fountain in Cherokee park around 4pm and will visit a half dozen or so of the public fountains sprinkled around the Louisville park system.

Come have a beer, watch polo, get drinks, ride rollers, wake up, play more polo, drive back to Louisville and play in the water and drink more beer with us!

I know this old news but it just goes so well with the new Shitluck shirt I had to post it. Thanks to Brian Todd for the heads up.

So I designed one of the new Shitluck shirts and as you can figure, everyone, especially those that ride fixed gear bikes, are taking it a tad too seriously. I for one can’t wait to get these printed and start struttin’ my stuff in it doing some “gnarly skids” and what have you… as they say.

So the Macaframa DVD is available for ordering… for $40 fucking dollars! All I can say is uhhhhhhh, no. I’ll download that shit for free next month. I’ve waited this long to see it, a couple more weeks ain’t shit.

Spotter this thing over at HTATBL and while I’d be willing to bet anyone of you that read this blog are less than likely to make it to the last instalment of this fine race I found it awesome none the less.

In random news that is the swirling shit storm also known as my life, I dropped my damn phone in the Swan Dive’s toilet. This all went down as I was finishing the emptying of my bladder and simultaneously pondering “How do all these people tend to drop phones in the toilet? That’s just redicu… oh shit!” Therefor proceeding to immediately dunk my hand in my own urine and retrieve a now dead cell phone. Regardless, the vegan ruben, spicy been dip and never ending flow of PBR were top notch as always. I love that place.

Circle Take Square is a fixed gear only race from downtown Indianapolis to Bloomington (approx 55-60 miles) taking place Saturday, August 22. From what I can tell final details are still being ironed out but it’s sure to be amazing. Check out the B.R.A. blog for more info and if I hear anything else I’ll be sure to post it.

PREVIEW: MASH Tour of California 2009 from MASH TRANSIT PRODUCTIONS on Vimeo.
