Urban Velo 14 is at the printers and guess who wrote the cover article?! Me bitches! Pretty stoked on this so give it a read. While I’ll admit it isn’t the best thing I’ve ever written, Brad did a great job piecing the whole thing together with some additional quotes and his own photography. The USA Cycling Master Road National Championships get started here in Louisville tomorrow so if you are  planning on going out and playing in Cherokee Park anytime this coming week I suggest you check out the schedule to see when you can actually get anywhere in there… that’s was the longest sentence ever. At any rate, raod racing in the park and criterium at Churchill Downs. Check it out if you get a chance, there’s even a tandem class for fuck’s sake!

Louisville’s Critical Mass is back for another round tonight. Meet under the bridge at Tyler Park at 6:30pm. The last one went over really well with very little incident so I would say it’s worth checking out for sure.

Other going’s on tonight is Friday Night Polo at the garage. This should get going around 8pm and is always good. Don’t miss it.

Hell muthafuckin yeah bitchessssssss! Who woulda thunk it? The United States men put a stop to Spain’s record streak of 15 international matches won in a row and 33 games without a loss. A streak that extends all the way back to 2006. Fuck you Spain! Okay, not really, I’m a fan, but still it is sooooooo good to see the home town boys pulling some shit together. Also, consider that this loss was dealt by the foot of a player who hasn’t played a second while being on loan to second tier Xerez in Spain. Will Jozy be called back up to Villarreal any time soon? As well, Dempsey was fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time to seal the deal in the 2 nil win and Tim Howards clean sheet.

While it takes all 11 of them on the field, to which they had 10 at the finish (WTF Bradley?!) I can’t help but give some props to Bocanegra in his return to the captains band. I am going to be going ape shit come Sunday. Start pouring bartender!

The United States will take on the winner of Brazil vs South Africa on Sunday, June 28 at 2:30.

Confederations Cup semifinals go down today with the US taking on Spain and tomorrow having Brazil take on home town hero’s South Africa. Final happens Sunday in Johannesburg. While it seems very likely Spain will be at that Sunday game, I can always hope. That hope, is one of the most conflicting things for me as well. National pride is something that disgusts me, especially pride for this one, but there’s something in there that makes me cheer for this team as well as the women’s when they play. Perhaps it’s the association, but I truly have no clue. Maybe it’s just because I’m supposed to. Either way, it happens. Now with news of the possible return of Bocanegra, I’m pretty stoked to see what happens.

Game time is at 2:30 and you can watch it live on ESPN or if you’re stuck behind a computer all day you can stream the live video through ESPN’s Soccernet.com, just select Live Video under MatchCentre. Lastly, the game will be rebroadcast at 11pm.

It’s Tuesday, hot as all fuck and I need to go home and cut the damn grass. I got nothin so watch this video I got off Urban Velo’s site and shut up.
